Target Offering Education Assistance For Some Workers

Target Corporation announced today it’s offering educational assistance at select online institutions for its front-line workers, as an incentive in today’s competitive labor market.
The company plans to spend $200 million over the next four years to offers workers free undergraduate and associate degree programs in business-oriented majors at select schools.
Target joins a growing list of corporations including Walmart, Taco Bell and Disney, in teaming up with Guild Education, which negotiates deals between companies and colleges for the program.
