Burke County Students Learn Virtually Friday
All Burke County public school students will be learning from home on Friday, April 16.
School district officials say that’s because employees and staff got the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday.
Officials decided to make it a virtual learning day for everyone on Friday, since many have reported side effects from the vaccine, especially after the second dose.
In-class learning will resume Monday, April 19.
