Under 2,000 Will Be Allowed at Outdoor Events Soon in Atlanta
Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms announced today that the city will begin allowing outdoor events with under 2,000 people after May 15.
She issued an executive order today, lifting the ban on permit applications for events like festivals and other large gatherings as long as there are less than 2,000 people.
Those events will be allowed after May 15, but officials say Covid-19 safety guidelines will still be followed.
