Victim and Suspect Named in Waffle House Murder
An Augusta man was shot and killed at the Waffle House restaurant in the 1600 block of Gordon Highway early this morning and authorities are searching for the killer.
Thirty two year old Nicklaus Wilson was shot at least one time and was pronounced dead at 2:30 a.m.
Thirty one year old Andrew Deon Gaines has been named the suspect in Wilson’s death. Gaines is black, 5″8 and weighs 190 pounds.
He was last seen driving a 2018 silver Kia Sportage with a South Carolina tag of 1897NL. Authorities say the vehicle was stolen.
Gaines should be considered armed and dangerous.
