Deadly Overnight Shooting at Waffle House
Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen has confirmed one person was shot and killed at the Waffle House restaurant in the 1600 block of Gordon Highway overnight.
The victim died at Augusta University Medical Center at 2:30 this morning.
An autopsy has been scheduled for later today.
Authorities say the person’s identity will not be released until family has been notified.
