CDC Now Says Students Can Be Spaced 3 Feet Apart
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has revised its guidelines for social distancing in the nation’s schools.
Today officials announced they now recommend spacing students three feet apart, instead of six feet, with students and teachers still wearing masks.
The guidelines apply to classrooms, all common areas, and when masks are off, such as while eating.
Authorities say the new 3-foot rule would allow many more schools to re-open to students on a full-time basis.
