Bicyclist Killed Late Monday Night in Aiken County
More Than 400 Products Sold at Family Dollar Stores in 23 States Recalled
A man was killed Monday night while riding his bicycle on Pine Log Road in Aiken at Waites Street.
Coroner Darryl Ables says the victim, whose name has not been released yet, was crossing the road on his bicycle at 8:30 p.m. when he was hit by two eastbound vehicles.
He was rushed to Augusta University Medical Center where he died a short time later.
Ables says the victim’s name will be released after he has been positively identified and next of kin has been notified.
