An Aiken Hotel Was The Site Of A Deadly Shooting Today: Female Victim Identified
An Aiken hotel was the site of a deadly shooting before 5:00 this morning.
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to the American Hearth Inn in the 3900 block of Richland Avenue West to a report of shots fired around 4:40 am.

When they arrived, they found a woman in a room at the Inn with at least one gunshot wound.
Aiken County Coroner Darryl Ables said 25-year-old Nyasia Dowling of Aiken was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy will be performed in Newberry.
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is investigating and has not released any other information yet.
