Hurricane Helene Claims Another Life In The CSRA
Hurricane Helene has now claimed 31 lives in the CSRA.
Aiken County Coroner Darryl Ables says the latest victim was 65-year-old Richard Seigler who suffered a cardiac-related death related to the storm.
Ables said Seigler died Saturday on C&H Lane in Aiken County north of New Ellenton.
“Like many of the most recent victims of the storm, he was an older patient who died of a health condition brought on or exacerbated by the storm,” said Ables.
