North Augusta Teen Missing, But No Signs She Left Against Her Will
A North Augusta teen is still missing, but North Augusta Public Safety officials are now confident that she ran away.
Public Safety says 15-year-old Belinda Orellana Sanchez has been missing since September 4. Her mother dropped her off at North Augusta High School that day and she hasn’t been seen in the area ever since.
Police said initially that Sanchez could be in the Florida area with her boyfriend, 20-year-old Marlon Trochez.
There was some question as to whether Sanchez could have been in danger, but North Augusta Public Safety Officials discounted that theory today.
“Upon further investigation, there is no reason to believe Belinda Orellana Sanchez has been taken against her will. North Augusta Department of Public Safety still needs the help of the community to help locate Belinda and return her home safely,” according to the news release.
