VA Augusta to Hold Nurse Hiring Event November 19

The VA Augusta Health Care System will host a hiring event next Saturday, November 19, in hopes of hiring Licensed Practical Nurses as well as Registered Nurses.

VA Augusta is holding the event at the Uptown Campus, Room 3B125, on Freedom Way in Augusta from 8 a.m. until noon to fill positions in Georgia and South Carolina.  New nursing graduates as well as experienced nurses are encouraged to attend.

Hospital officials say they need RNs and LPNs for its Spinal Cord Injury units and RNs for its Community Living Center (long-term care) unit.

Those attending should bring several copies of an updated resume to the job fair. VA nursing leaders will be doing on-site interviews.
