Happy Birthday Vince Dooley! Georgia’s beloved former head coach and athletic director turned 90 on Sunday. Coach Dooley received one of his gifts a day early.
Moments before the start of Bulldog’s season opener against Oregon, Dooley was headed to the center of the field at Mercedes-Benz stadium for what he thought was a standard ceremony for he and other Peach Bowl legends.
What happened next brought everyone together to sing “Happy Birthday” led by the UGA Redcoat Marching Band, and even a surprise birthday cake.
