A Fetus Was Found In A Walmart Trash Can in Grovetown
A fetus was found today in a trash can in the parking lot of the Walmart store on Steiner Way in Grovetown.
The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the fetus was found after authorities got an alert from Wellstar MCG Health this afternoon.

Hospital officials notified the sheriff’s office that a patient had given birth and the fetus was put in a trash can near a grocery cart return area in the parking lot, not far from the front of the store.
Major Steve Morris said an autopsy will be performed.
The woman who gave birth is being questioned.
For now, no other information is available.
