Braves Shut Out Mets, Extend Contract For Michael Harris II

The Braves won their 8th consecutive game on Tuesday night. They shut out the Mets, 5-0 and trimmed New York’s lead to 3.5 games in the National League East. Matt Olsen and Robbie Grossman both had home runs in the shut out win.
Michael Harris II also inked a new deal for 8 years and $72 million. The deal runs through the 2030 season and includes team options for 2031 ($15 million) and 2032 ($20M).
