Changes to Miracle Mile Walk due to Pandemic
The 20th annual Miracle Mile Walk event will still be held in October, but it won’t involve the usual three mile walk this year.
University Health Care Foundation has announced they will be doing a one-day socially distanced donation drop-off instead of a walk, to protect participants due to the ongoing pandemic.
The Miracle Mile Drive will be Saturday, October 17 from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. at University Hospital’s Summerville campus. Participants and teams can take their donations to the donation drop off drive-through and get their t-shirts without leaving their vehicle.
Miracle Mile merchandise will be available for purchase, raffle tickets will be on sale, and breast cancer survivors will be recognized as they drive through the event.
