All Stein Mart Stores Closing
It’s official. Stein Mart has announced its closing all of its 279 locations across the country.
Company officials filed for Chapter 11 reorganization earlier this week and authorized going-out-of-business sales, which are already underway in some locations.
Stein Mart operates a store in Washington Square on Washington Road in Augusta.
Officials say Stein Mart gift cards and loyalty rewards will be accepted for a limited time. It’s not known when the store’s doors will be closing for good.
