Herman Cain Dies While Hospitalized with Covid-19
Former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain has died in Atlanta at the age of 74.
Cain first went to an Atlanta hospital July 1 where he was diagnosed with Covid-19. Health officials say he was in a high risk group due to his history with cancer.
Cain was the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza and a syndicated columnist. He was also co-chair of Black Voices for Trump. Cain had recently attended a rally for Trump in Tulsa, Oklahoma, though officials say they can’t confirm that Cain contracted the virus there.
