Aiken Fall Steeplechase Cancelled
There won’t be an Aiken Fall Steeplechase in late October thanks to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The 29th running of the event was supposed to be held October 31 at the Aiken Horse Park Foundation’s Bruce’s Field.
The 54th running of the Aiken Spring Steeplechase event in March was also cancelled due to the Coronavirus.
Meanwhile, the Steeplechase’s board of directors says construction on a new facility continues on the east side of Aiken. It will host the 2021 Aiken Fall Steeplechase.
