Augusta University Announces Plans to Reopen Campus
Augusta University President Dr. Brooks Keel announced plans for a gradual return to in-person instruction for the fall semester which begins in August.
Plans are outlined now for a safe return to normal operation of classrooms and residence halls, administrative offices, athletics, student life and activities, research, and more, according to Keel.
The university will resume in-person activities on the Health Sciences and Summerville campuses starting July 1 and August 3, respectively. Classes will begin August 10.
Keel said safety measures will include asking everyone to use face coverings, practice social distancing, and limit the number of in-person meetings.
