Two Murdered in Separate Incidents today in Richmond County
Two homicide investigations are underway in Richmond County.
Just after 4:00 a.m. authorities responded to the 4900 block of Mike Padgett Highway where a man had been shot at least one time. He died at the scene.
About two hours later, investigators were called to the third floor of the parking deck at the Augusta Convention Center where a woman’s body was found. Authorities say she had been shot at least one time.
The identities of the victims have not been released pending notification of family members.
No word yet on possible suspects.
