Kroger Will Extend Shopping Hours, End Hours for Seniors
Kroger stores in Georgia, South Carolina and eastern Alabama will extend shopping hours starting this Sunday, May 24.
The company had cut store hours to allow more time for cleaning and restocking once the Covid-19 pandemic began.
Most of the Georgia stores will be open between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. Fuel centers will open at 5 a.m. and a select number of stores will be open 24 hours a day.
Starting Sunday, Kroger will no longer offer special senior shopping hours between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. Mondays through Thursdays since stores will begin opening at 6 a.m.
Company officials say social distancing, face masks and sanitation procedures will remain in place.
