The CSRA had big things planned for this upcoming weekend, some major arrangements had to be made due to the forecasted weather.

Many Christmas festivals and annual tree lighting ceremonies were happening December 2-3, this Saturday, throughout the CSRA.

One of the events that was moved to a different date was the Christmas in Columbia County event, which included the annual Christmas tree lighting held at the Evans Towne Center Park.

Evans Towne Center Park decided to combine their annual Sip and Shop event with the Christmas tree lighting event. The Sip and Shop was already scheduled for November 30. The Sip and Shop is where friends and family can come to grab a drink and shop with local vendors from around the area.

The Christmas tree lighting event was initially scheduled for December 3 along with the Christmas parade. While the tree lighting event was rescheduled. The parade for now is still on.. for December 3^rd..
