Elderly Man’s Body Found at Big Hart Campground in McDuffie County
Body Found in Shallow Grave on Heard Avenue
An investigation is underway after the body of an elderly man was found late this morning at Russell Landing at Big Hart Campground in McDuffie County.
The McDuffie County Coroner’s Office says the body of 92-year-old Michael Alan Cole of Warrenton was found at 11 a.m. in the water, not far from the boat ramp. His body will be sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab for an autopsy.
For now, no other information has been released.
