Aiken Public Safety officers were called to Walmart on Whiskey Road in Aiken tonight to a report of a shooting there. Authorities confirmed one person was shot around 7:30 pm.
The victim was taken to Augusta University Medical Center. The person's condition was not known.
Investigators say a suspect is in custody and there is no further danger to the public.
So far, no other information has been released.
