Rescue Of The Week; Solo
Here’s our rescue of the week, meet Solo.
Solo is a Great Dane mix, he’s 1 to 2 years old and about 40-45lbs.
He does ok on a leash (occasionally a slight pull), sits very well (especially when he knows there’s a treat coming) and is playful (he might jump from time to time but does well with the “off” command)
He LOVES to play with his toys and is rather entertaining to watch when he does. He’s good with other dogs and with children. After playing, he does like to be petted and might just try to crawl into your lap. If you need a “cat test”, call the shelter and they’ll conduct one for you.
Solo is up to date on shots, neutered, microchipped and HW tested (-).

If you would like to meet Solo, visit the Augusta Animal Shelter from 11am-4pm Monday thru Friday, Noon-4pm on Saturdays.
As always, you’re encouraged to bring your pets for a “meet and greet”.
