It’s a Sonny Day At The Aiken County Animal Shelter
This beautiful Pointer mix is Sonny. He’s hoping someone falls in love with his story and photo and comes to the shelter to save him.
He’s lanky and the shelter thinks he’s mixed with Great Dane.
Sonny Is A Volunteer Favorite At The Aiken County Animal Shelter
Sonny is very sweet and gentle. He is the definition of a “good boy”. He adores people. He likes to please. Seems housetrained as he offers his paw on command.
He does best with lots of time and attention. He’s so stressed at the shelter; he’s covered in drool every morning when he gets up.
Sonny gets along great with some dogs, so a meeting with existing pets is required before adoption. He’d be perfect as an only pet.
Sonny is 3 years old and weighs 77lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative.
His adoption fee is $35.
The Aiken County Animal Shelter is located at 333 Wire Rd., Aiken, SC.
E-mail, [email protected] to meet Sonny.
Walk-Ins are welcomed from 11am-4pm Monday through Saturday.
The shelter is full, as it always is. If you can’t provide a loving home for Sonny, he needs you to pass this along so he can find one.
Again, large dogs have a hard time being adopted. If you can take in a dog of his size, please consider.
