An infant died early this morning at Wellstar MCG after being found unresponsive overnight at a local motel.

Now three people are in custody charged with the baby's murder.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office was called to the Budget Inn in the 1600 block of Gordon Highway at 2:00 am to an unknown situation.

That's when deputies found a 3-month-old unresponsive infant.

Infant Died and Now 3 Face Charges

The baby, identified as Josiah Noel Seright of Washington, Georgia, was taken to Wellstar MCG where he was pronounced dead at 2:37 am, according to Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen.

The cause of his death isn't known, but a news release from the Sheriff's Office says the baby died as a result of his injuries.

An autopsy has been scheduled.

Josiah's mother, 19-year-old September De'Asia Seright was taken into custody and charged with the baby's death.

Others Charged with the Baby's Death

The Sheriff's Office also arrested 42-year-old Diane Lamish Seright and 39-year-old Antonio Bennie Nash, all of Washington, Georgia. All three have been charged with Murder 2nd Degree and Cruelty to Children 2nd Degree.

The investigation is ongoing and no other information has been released yet.
