Scheffler Wins The Players.
As we look toward the 2023 Masters, here’s what happened this weekend on the PGA Tour.
Scottie Scheffler continues his winning ways. Already a winner this year, defending his title at the WM Phoenix Open, Scottie Scheffler dominated play at the 2023 PLAYERS. It was Scheffler’s sixth victory in the last 14 months and he returned to #1 in the world with his win at the Players.
Next up, he’ll defend his WGC/Dell Match Play Championship in two weeks in Austin, before coming to Augusta, the first full week in April to defend his MASTERS win. Scheffler picked up over $4 million with the victory, bringing him to over $10 million in winnings so far this seas
Tyrrell Hatton had the most productive round on Sunday, firing a -7 par, 65 to finish -12 for the tournament, a solo 2nd place finish, and a $2, 725 million dollar payday.
