Columbia Road Crash Blocks Traffic
A Columbia Road crash involving a dump truck and van shut down a portion of the road this morning, forcing drivers to take an alternate route.
The Columbia Road crash was reported at the entrance to Amherst subdivision at Wendover Way.
At least one person had to be extricated from a vehicle. It’s not known how seriously anyone was hurt.
The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office says Columbia Road was closed at South Belair Road, and Columbia Road and traffic was detoured at Columbia Road and Hereford Farm Road.
