This time of year, the Carpenters “Merry Christmas, Darling” is a staple on the radio and just about everywhere. It spotlights the special talents Karen Carpenter had.
So does this video. From YouTube, the music has been removed and you can hear Karen’s beautiful voice on their debut hit, “Close To You”.
Next year will be the 40th anniversary of her passing. We’ll always have the music and her incredible voice.
