Chipotle Has A Scented Candle, And A Sense Of Humor
So, the folks at Chipotle are introducing a new scented candle.
Over the last few years, Ikea had a candle that smelled like it’s famous meatballs.
Shake Shack had one smelling like one of it’s burgers.
McDonalds even had a six pack of candles that when burned together, smelled like one of it’s Quarter Pounders/
But, what Chipotle is doing is a little different.
Their candle smells like lemonade.
Why lemonade you say? Well, it shows their sense of humor.
The candle comes in what appears to be one of Chipotle’s water cups. The reason it smells like lemonade, is to “pay tribute” to the customers that come in, order a water, for free, and then go over to the fountain and fill it with lemonade. One of the oldest food scams in the “food scams” business.
The candle will be available on their online store www.chipotlegoods.com starting at noon on Thursday, the 18th, while supplies last.
The candles will sell for $28 each, shipping is free. The candle will also come with a promo code that customers can redeem for a free lemonade
