Marshmallow Really Needs You ADOPTED!!
Marshmallow has been adopted!
Marshmallow really needs you. The odds are really against this guy. He’s 11 years old and he’s deaf. He’s been left by an owner that moved away without him.
The volunteers at the shelter say that he’s just the sweetest thing.
His face in this photo, is the face of a dog waiting for his owners to come back for him. They aren’t.
Like many deaf dogs, he sticks close to you and he’s very intuitive. Deaf dogs bond tightly to their owners so you can imagine how lost and lonely he’s feeling.
He was disowned with another dog but that one was adopted quickly because she was young and fluffy. Now Marshmallow is all alone.
He gets along with other dogs and he loves people. He’s good on a leash and thankful for any kindness. He’s big, 73 lbs. His skin is red and raw from fleas but he’s been treated for that right now.
In addition, he’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. He may need some housetraining.
His adoption fee is $35.
Please share this post to help Marshmallow find a loving home. The shelter is overcrowded and the need for their adoption is urgent.
The Aiken County Animal Shelter is located at 333 Wire Rd., Aiken. If you would like to arrange to meet him, send an e-mail to [email protected].
Walk-Ins are welcome from 11am-4pm every day except Sunday.
