Start 2024 with Shep!
I’m sure you’ve gathered by now just how much I love all animals. You will be seeing a bunch of them on this site in 2024. To date, just about every animal that has appeared on this website has been adopted, which is GREAT! There are more everyday, and rest assured, you’ll be seeing them here.
Shep is confused about where he is, and why he’s in the shelter. His owners disowned him, saying that he had food aggression and occasional potty accidents and they didn’t want him anymore.
Shep’s chocolate brown, wirehaired coat is even prettier in person. He’s gentle and loving and would make a phenomenal companion for the right person. He’s 4 years old and weighs 52lbs. And he would probably do best as an only pet.
If you have another pet, a meeting is required before adoption.
He is great being on the leash. Shep is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, he has heartworms, but treatment will be provided at no cost to you. His adoption fee is $35.
Please share this post to help Shep find a loving home. The shelter is overcrowded and the need for their adoption is urgent.
The Aiken County Animal Shelter is located at 333 Wire Rd., Aiken. Walk-Ins are welcome from 11am-4pm everyday except Sunday. If you would like to arrange to meet Shep, send an e-mail to info@fotasaiken.org.
Again, start 2024 with Shep!
