Brodie Is At The Aiken County Animal Shelter Looking For Some TLC
Brodie is at the Aiken County Animal Shelter looking for some TLC.
Meet Brodie. He’s loving, gentle and so deserving.
He has not had an easy life. His frail, ragged body with transform with a little love. It’s clear he’s never had that. He’s special though because he gives you his heart as soon as you meet him. He loves children and adults and gets along with other friendly animals.
Brodie has gone hungry, and lived in the rain, heat and cold. He needed a bath and smelled pretty bad. He arrived with some hair missing from being eaten alive by fleas. The fleas are gone and his fur is starting to return.
He is tender and loving, despite how he’s been treated. He’s about 6 years old and 56 lbs. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm-negative. He may need some housetraining.
He’s available for the adoption fee of $35.
Please share this post to help Brodie find a loving home. The shelter is overcrowded and the need for him adoption is urgent.
The Aiken County Animal Shelter is located at 333 Wire Road, Aiken. If you would like to arrange to meet Brodie, send an e-mail to [email protected].
Walk-Ins are welcome from 11am-4pm everyday except Sunday.

I truly can’t believe it’s time to start shopping for the holidays! I mean it feels like the whole summer zipped past me. I’m a planner. I try my absolute best to make sure that when the holiday shopping season rolls around I plan out the gifts I’m getting my loved ones. And that includes my pets. I have an adorable dog named Bailey and a very sassy cat named General Mittens. Yes, it is probably the best name in the world for her. Regardless, I need to make sure I buy them something for the holidays otherwise they’ll feel left out. So pet gifts are a must!
I know what you’re thinking. “What makes it a gift for them? Is it just toys?” Well, no it’s not just toys. In fact, I usually like to go the route of one toy, one treat, and one special item just for them. What makes it a gift for them though? Honestly, I think the main answer to that is that it’s something they’ll get joy out of. The items I chose for this list have that in mind.
Yes, you can absolutely grab your pet a bunch of toys for Christmas. But what about a cute new collar or bandana set? How about a place to hang their favorite leash? And yes, there will be some great toys on this list that I’m sure you and your pet will love. But I also love thinking outside of the box. The holiday shopping frenzy is starting, so as you go into this season, I hope this list helps you find some great new pet gifts for your favorite furry friends!
