MOONEY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!
Let’s find a home for for this sweet, loving cat, Mooney.
Mooney just sits in the back of his cage. Everybody walks past him. Mooney is curled up in a little ball, because the shelter is scary, especially when you’re blind.
Week after week, no one asks to meet him. He has no appointments, none. That’s sad for a lot of reasons, mainly because people are missing out on having a deeply loving cat. His life is hardly pleasant in this situation.
Mooney is blind because his eyes never developed. Nobody knows why, or if maybe he’s able to see shadows. Just try to imagine what it was like for him living on the streets.
He melts when you reach in his cage to pet him.
Mooney needs an indoor-only home. He’s four years old and he’s between seven and eight pounds. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, litter trained, FIV-negative, and FeLeuk negative. His adoption fee is only $10.
Please share this to help Mooney find a loving home. The shelter is overcrowded and his need for adoption is urgent.
The Aiken County Animal Shelter is located at 333 Wire Road in Aiken. Walk-Ins are welcome from 11am-4pm everyday but Sunday.
If you would like to meet Mooney, send an e-mail to info@fotasaiken.org.
