Georgia And South Carolina Stores Closed on Thanksgiving
There are quite a few Georgia and South Carolina stores closed on Thanksgiving this year.
Thanksgiving is a day to spend with your family and friends. And while that’s not ideal for everyone, we’re sure the employees of these stores are glad to have the day off to enjoy with their families too.
Sure, it may not be convenient if there is something you absolutely have to have on Thanksgiving Day. But hopefully, you’ve prepared ahead, and won’t need to head out to the stores on Thursday.
Don’t get us wrong, shopping is fun… but let’s leave that for Black Friday! That way more people can spend the day with loved ones before the true madness begins!
Over the past few years, there has been a lot of back and forth on when stores would open for Black Friday. It kept getting earlier and earlier… until eventually, stores started opening on Thanksgiving Day! But something has changed. We have to wonder if some of it has to do with 2020 when the pandemic kept people away, and the stores realized it was going to be okay to close for ONE day.
The holiday season will be crazy enough. We appreciate the fact that many of these stores are opting to close on Thanksgiving Day to show appreciation for their employees and give them a break! See which stores are closed on Thanksgiving below, as well as some that will be open.
