Man Wanted for Multiple Armed Robberies in Richmond County
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who is wanted for multiple armed robberies in the area since late March.
Investigators say they are looking for 30-year-old Dmond Jackson in connection with holdups at convenience stores on Kissingbower Road, Deans Bridge Road and Gordon Highway. The armed robberies took place between March 24 and April 10.

- Has a cross tattoo in the middle of his forehead
- Known to frequent the areas of Murphy Road and Douglas Street
- Considered armed and dangerous.
The first armed robbery was reported March 24 at TJ Mart in the 1900 block of Kissingbower Road. An employee said the suspect pulled a semi-automatic handgun out of his sweatshirt and demanded money. He got away with $1,900 in cash and fled on foot toward Haynie Drive.
Four days later, an armed robbery was reported at Lucky Food Mart, also in the 1900 block of Kissingbower Road. An employee said the suspect had an unknown type of firearm when he jumped over the counter and grabbed cash from the register as well as the employee’s cell phone. He was seen running from the store headed toward Haynie Drive.
On March 31, an armed robbery was reported at the BP station in the 2100 block of Gordon Highway. An employee said the suspect pulled out a gun with an extended magazine before jumping over the counter and demanding money from the register. The suspect fled from the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and was headed toward the Days Inn on Gordon Highway.
On April 8, an armed robbery was reported at Dollar General in the 2500 block of Deans Bridge Road. Witnesses said the suspect demanded money from the register at gunpoint and fled from the store on foot headed east toward Milledgeville Road.
Richmond County authorities have identified the suspect in all 4 robberies as Dmond Jackson.
