Suspect Wanted in Burke County Armed Robbery
An armed robbery in Burke County early this morning is under investigation.
The Burke County Sheriff’s Office says it needs help identifying a man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint overnight.
The armed robbery was reported at 1:46 am at the Vidette Country Store on Highway 24 E. in Waynesboro.
Description of the Robber:
- Wearing a blue hooded jacket
- Gray pants
- Black gloves with a white stripe
- Black tennis shoes
The Burke County Sheriff’s Office says the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
