Are You Looking For Justice
Are you looking for Justice? Because Justice is looking for you!
A Sad Story
Justice is an incredibly special dog, with an incredibly sad story. After being abused, neglected and then abandoned, she was adopted. But then, her new owner passed away.
The vet at the Aiken County Animal Shelter named her Justice. She is the volunteer’s favorite. They ask every day if she’s been adopted. But she never even has an appointment.
Yes, she’s older but she’s also phenomenal.
Justice was in the shelter five years ago. She was so neglected, the shelter wasn’t sure that she would live. Among the many issues, her collar had grown so deeply into her neck, it required surgery to remove it. Then she was adopted. Everyone was thrilled. But last year, she was found wondering the streets. No one wanted her back. She had heartworms and her heart was broken.
She was adopted again, but as mentioned, her owner passed away.
Adopt Justice
Now she’s 9 years old, and it’s really hard to compete with the puppies when it comes to getting attention.
Justice would make a wonderful pet. She loves people, especially older ones. And she would be perfect as an only pet or with another calm and friendly dog. She is NOT a good fit with cats.
Justice weighs 64 lbs. She’s spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She has heartworms but treatment will be provided at no cost to you.
No appointments just yet. A meeting is required before adoption. Her adoption fee is $35.
Please share this post to help Justice find a loving home. The shelter is overcrowded and the need for their adoption is urgent.
The Aiken County Animal Shelter is located at 333 Wire Rd., Aiken. Walk-Ins are welcome from 11am-4pm every day except Sunday.
