Flooring Thief Sought in Columbia County
The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office needs help identifying a man who stole over $9,000 worth of flooring from a local business last month.
They’ve released surveillance pictures of the suspect and the vehicle he was driving in hopes someone will be able to identify him.
The incident was reported September 29 at the Flooring Pros on Bobby Jones Expressway. Investigators say the flooring was paid for online using fraudulent credit cards.
The suspect has a beard and was wearing a dark tank top, glasses, and had a multi-colored bandana covering his head. He was driving a white flatbed truck and was last seen heading towards Richmond County.
If you have any information that could help identify him, contact Investigator Fletcher at (706) 541-1022 or Columbia County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch at (706) 541-2800.
