Deadly Shooting Saturday Under Investigation in Thomson
A deadly shooting was reported in Thomson late Saturday night. Police were called to a report of a shooting in the 800 block of A Street in Thomson around 11 p.m.
Investigators say they found 32-year-old Steveance Tate of Thomson unconscious, with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Tate’s body is being sent to the state crime lab for an autopsy. The GBI has been called to assist in the investigation.
