Authorities have made an arrest in connection to the Augusta murder of a 15-year-old in a shooting in July.

Richmond County authorities said 15-year-old Jabari Webb of Walker Street was shot at least one time July 12th in the 500 block of Aiken Street.  He died July 25 at Augusta University Medical Center.  A second male was also taken to the hospital, but has since recovered from his injuries.

A warrant was issued for the arrest of 17-year-old Dontavious Shareef Smith of Augusta for Webb's murder.  Today, Richmond County authorities say Smith was taken into custody at 2:50 p.m. in Myrtle Beach.

The Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force notified the sheriff's office here they had taken Smith into custody.
