33 Things EVERY New Golfer Should Know
So, the folks at Golf Digest have complied a list. Thirty three things every new golfer should know.
We won’t go through them all here…but, here are a few of the things.
You have ONE responsibility, DON’T HOLD ANYONE UP! KEEP MOVING!
Oh, one more, don’t be a jerk. Be the kind of person you would want to meet. Good advice
Learn to yell “FORE” really loud.
Never, never, did I mention never give swing advice to one of the people you’re playing with.
Lay off the phone while you’re playing.
You don’t need a new wardrobe, and NEVER wear a white belt.
Be open to meeting new people. The game is better when shared. Make a new friend.\
Don’t be a complainer.
Always play for a buck or two. It doesn’t have to be and shouldn’t be a large bet. Just something to keep you interested.
Don’t be an idiot with the cart girl. She’s just trying to do a job, and she’s more than likely already heard anything and everything you have to offer.
Can’t say this enough. NO ONE cares had good you are. They do care about No.1 though. Forgotten No.1? Look up.
