Identities Released of Woman and Infant Found Dead in Augusta Home
The identities of a woman and infant boy found in a Richmond County home on Saturday have been released.
Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen said 30-year-old Tiara Jennings and her infant son were found dead in the home in the 1600 block of Chase Creek Court Saturday. The McCoy’s Creek neighborhood is near Grovetown.
Saturday’s Discovery
Deputies were called to the home at 4:15 pm after the bodies were discovered. Bowen said an autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death.
Bowen said the case is still in the early stages of the investigation and no other information is available.
Although the identities of the woman and infant have been released, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office hasn’t released any information about the discovery of the bodies.
