$2 summer movies will be available for kids this summer at some area theaters

$2 summer movies will be available again two days a week while kids are out of school for summer break.

Starting June 4, the Summer Kid Show Series movies at Georgia Theater Company locations will offer $2 movies at 10 am each Tuesday and Thursday through July 25.

In addition to $2 admission, popcorn will be $2, drinks are $2, and M&M Minis will be $2.

Doors open at 9:15 am and the movie starts at 10

  • Paw Patrol Mighty Movie: June 4 & 6
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Mutant Mayhem): June 11 & 13
  • Trolls (Band Together): June 18 & 20
  • Minions (The Rise of Gru): June 25 & 27
  • How to Train Your Dragon: July 2 & 4
  • Migration: July 9 & 11
  • Spiderman (Across the Spiderverse): July 16 & 18
  • Lego Movie: July 23 & 25

Sensory friendly screenings are available for all titles.

Miller Theater Free Movies

The Miller Theater offers free movies once a month on Sundays for the rest of the year. To reserve tickets, go to www.millertheateraugusta.com.

Doors open at 3 pm and the movie begins at 4 pm for all shows. Seating is general admission and on a first come, first served basis.

Summer Movie Express from Regal Cinemas

Admission to the Summer Movie Express is $2, for shows on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 11 am. Tickets will be available at the box office. Each week, both movies play on both days. All movies are G or PG. Regal has not released the Summer Movie Express lineup yet.
