Today, April 19, Taylor Swift released her surprise double album The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology. It is a reissue of Taylor Swift’s 11th album and features 15 more new tracks.
Frog and The Hen in Augusta got in on the celebration of her new album by throwing a Taylor Swift-themed brunch. The brunch is taking place today 8 am - 8 pm.
The manager, Kinsey Ringer, a swiftie herself, told me why she thought this was a great idea for the community.
"I brought it up to the owner and he was kind of hesitant about it, but I was like, it would be a great opportunity - we're a big group - a big community, especially in the area," Kinsey said.
They even have a friendship bracelet station set up for customers to make their own.
What to Expect at the Taylor Swift Brunch at Frog and The Hen

Expect all things Taylor Swift! From the music playing through the restaurant to the special curated menu. They have a friendship bracelet station set up, a photo-op area with props, and more.
"For our food special it's going to be a play on our fried chicken biscuit. It's going to have an open-faced biscuit, smoked ham, a sunny-side-up egg, and hot hollandaise sauce on it," Kinsey said.
They even have special cocktails; since Taylor Swift fans come in all ages, they also have some special mocktails.

While this is the first music artist-themed brunch like this at Frog and The Hen, this certainly may not be the last.
