Rollover Crash on Riverwatch Parkway with Serious Injuries
A rollover crash on Riverwatch Parkway late this afternoon has left four people injured.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says traffic units responded to the single vehicle accident at 4:22 pm.
The cause of the accident
“The driver was driving recklessly while traveling westbound at mile marker 2,” according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say the vehicle left the road on the north shoulder, striking an embankment. The impact caused the vehicle to flip and come to rest on its roof.
Three of the four occupants of the vehicle had to be extricated.
