Man Shot and Killed in Richmond County this Morning Identified, Suspect Arrested
Man Wanted in Aiken for Fraud and Forgery
A homicide investigation is underway in Richmond County. Investigators say they responded to the 2800 block of Fairmount Street at 12:30 am today to a report of a shooting. Deputies found an adult male who had been shot at least one time and died as a result of his injuries. Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen said the victim has been identified as 33-year-old Dwayne Anthony Tillman II of Augusta. An autopsy has been scheduled.
Investigators say they have taken 21-year-old Traveon Wade into custody and charged him with Murder, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, and Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute.
