Here are results from the Mexico Open.
Tony Finau held off World No.1 Jon Rahm to pick up his 6th PGA Tour win.
Despite not winning, Rahm did pick up $839,300 for his efforts. Bringing his total to $14,462,840 for the season. That breaks the record for most money won in a season. Scottie Scheffler set the record last year with $14,046,910. Keep in mind, it’s just now May. There are still three more major championships and numerous “designated” events still to play.
This week’s Wells Fargo Championship is the next designated event. Rahm will be skipping the event in Charlotte this week.
