The Columbia County Board of Commissioners and the Columbia County School District are hosting a job fair on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. It will take place at the Columbia County Exhibition Center – 212 Partnership Drive, Grovetown, Georgia.
The job fair is for a variety of skilled-trade and professional positions. Team members from Columbia County will be on site from:
- Engineering Services
- Fire Rescue
- Fleet Services
- Human Resources
- Leisure Services
- Library Services
- Public Transit
- Road Construction
- Stormwater Operations and Compliance
- Technology Services
- Traffic Engineering
- Water Utility
- Columbia County Sheriff’s Office
These team member will provide information to interested candidates and answer any questions.
The Columbia County School District will also have staff members on site from:
- Department of Human Resources
- Department of Transportation
- Department of Facilities
- Maintenance and Operations
- Department of School Nutrition
The new starting base pay for Columbia County is $15 an hour with 11 paid holidays, retirement, employee medical clinic, education tuition reimbursement, free life insurance, onsite training, wellness program and an employee fitness center.
